Who is The Marketing Lens?

The Marketing Lens started as a freelance business for myself, Laura, when I made the leap from corporate brand marketing to marketing consultant. During this time, I found that no matter the size of a business, all brands struggled with overflow work when it came to launching new products, redoing packaging or refreshing the brand’s look & feel. 

Through the Marketing Lens I was able to leverage my expertise in both the pet industry and working in brand management to help pet brands navigate stressful periods of heavy work by either providing brand management support on a large project or simply rolling up my sleeves and honing in on the nitty gritty tactical details of a project.  

Who we are: 

  • Brand Managers - Provide strategic guidance & overall project management support as well as tactical support on the detail-heavy pieces of your overall project

Who we are not: 

  • An advertising agency - While we work hand-in-hand with agencies, copywriters and designers, we stay focused on the project timelines and requirements needed to build a successful brand

What scope of services do you offer? 

Our areas of focus include new product launches, as well as packaging & brand refreshes. Within each of these areas, our services can be customized to your needs. We can provide full project/brand management support to manage all aspects of the project with your cross-functional teams. What does your process look like?

Great question! While the needs for each project may be the same, the process we take for each brand is going to look a little different. 

For example, to launch a new product all brands will need costing, pricing, forecasting, item setup, packaging and marketing support. However the process used to complete for each brand will look a little different depending on their internal processes & cross-functional support. 

So, to identify the process for your project we: 

  1. Identify all the key to-dos/areas of focus needed for your project

  2. Identify cross-functional partners & existing processes you have today 

  3. Based on this info, we’ll provide a detailed process proposal & timeline
