A pet supplements brand had the opportunity to double their product portfolio but with a small team, needed additional support to manage the new product commercialization process.


Goal: Capitalize on the double-digit growth of the pet supplements category by launching the brand into new benefit segments and product forms.


Results:

Through strong collaboration with brand founders and cross-functional team members, managed the new product commercialization process for six new soft chews as well as new product forms and packaging for the brand. 

The launch successfully doubled the brand’s product portfolio and expanded the brand into new supplement categories.


Scope of work included:

Project manager for the new product commercialization process including:

  • Working with teams on final costing & pricing

  • Managing approvals/sign-offs from cross-functional teams 

  • Managing project approval with executive leadership 

  • Managing internal item setup 

  • Overseeing timelines for packaging, marketing copy and supporting imagery
